- Make me laugh
- Never betray my trust
- Have a great sense of humour
- Be kind and caring

30 Day Writing Challenge - Day 6
30 Day Writing Challenge - Day 5
My time working with the airlines allowed me to visit quite a few places through interline staff travel. However, there were few places that I didn't get to visit. These are they:
- Australia
- Hawaii
- Germany
- Disney World
- Guadalajara (okay, I already visited there but I really want to go there again)

30 Day Writing Challenge - Day 4
Day 4: Wrote about someone who inspires you
If he was still alive, my grandfather would have been 103 years old on November 25th. Sadly, he left us 24 years ago. He may be gone from this physical world, but his presence is still here.
Born in the hills of Clarendon in 1914, Grandpa lived a simple life - never realising the far-reaching influence his life would have. Although he was forced to drop out of school at Grade 6, due to the death of his father, he inspired a love of education in all his children. His family jokingly refers to teaching as the Family Business as all of his ten children have been involved in the field of education. This has continued to his grandchildren, with many of them also involved in this field.
A true humanitarian, he never hesitated to care for children who needed help. Even with 10 children in the house, he found space in his heart and in his home to take in more – without thought of remuneration. He cared for them as if they were his own biological children. The house on Lampard hill was filled to the brim with love and laughter.
That’s not to say he wasn't a disciplinarian. His children, even now, remember the times he disciplined them, with time (and the fact that they are now parents as well) causing them to chuckle at the disciplinary actions they received. They also embrace his religious teachings as this was something they were brought up in, which they have also passed on to their own children.
I have the supreme honour of being the first child of his first child and I live each day trying to make Mass Alda proud.

My 30-Day Writing Challenge
Day 2: Write something that someone told you about yourself that you never forgot
Twenty-four years ago, shortly after we started "talking", Hunny Bear told me that I acted like I was tough but I was really a softie inside. Turns out he was right. Sorta.
